Is there a preparation needed before fibroscan test?
There is no major preparation needed before the test although it is advised to avoid eating before 2-3hours before the test for better accuracy. It is a simple, quick,non invasive test that assess liver fibrosis (scarring) and fat accumulation (steatosis) without needing a liver biopsy.
